Woolly Hollow with its 40 acre Lake Bennett will steal your heart as you arrive. This park located in the Ozark Mountains just northwest of Little Rock is becoming one of the people's favorite getaway places in Arkansas. There are rentals for flat bottom boats, canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats for those who want to enjoy the lake. Although a small lake, fishing for bass, crappie, catfish, and bream is a favorite activity. The clear blue waters are great for swimming as well. There are hiking trails and a 10 mile long Enders Fault biking trail the park. The Woolly Cabin, owned by Marin Alfred Woolly who settled nearby in 1882, has been moved to the park and restored for you to easily view.
Woolly Hollow is a delightful place to visit. The park has a really nice campground with full hookups.The park is small and reservations especially for weekends is advised for camping. If you prefer to stay in a motel, check out the city of Greenbrier, Arkansas. The staff at the park is outstanding and helpful in getting information you may need.
